The rail network has long marked celebrations such as Defender of the Fatherland Day, International Women’s Day, Victory Day, Railway Workers’ Day and Company Day.
Russian Railways, together with ROSPROFZHEL, the trade union for employees working on Russia’s railways, have implemented various corporate social projects across the years:

- the "Handicrafts" arts and crafts competition;
- the song writing contest "Grab a Guitar! Time To Get Going!";
- the photo contest "Professions in Persons";
- the "United Paths" festival of national cultures;
- the festival of arts celebrating "40 Years of BAM – the Baikal Amur Main Line";
- the art festival "Constellation of Hero Cities";
- Competition for the "Best Cultural Facilities at Russian Railways";
- The "Young Talent at Russian Railways" competition;
- contest for "The Best New Year’s Toy at Russian Railways";
- the "Theatrical Station" competition;
- the "New Year Main Line" competition of drawings and photographs.
