A child without a seat is issued a cash-free ticket for trains to/from the CIS and Abkhazia.

For a child under 4/5 years of age, passengers can book a children"s ticket with a seat/berth.
Attention! Children are not allowed to travel if unaccompanied by adults. The age of the child is determined as of the day of the journey.
Cash-free tickets for children travelling without occupying a separate seat/berth cannot be booked outside the Russian Federation.

Discounts for groups of passengers

Groups of passengers have discounts in a message with the following countries:
Mongolia (from 6 people):
  • adults;
  • childrens 4-12 yeras old.

On services to and from Mongolia, a discount off the ticket price is available. A reserved seat/berth is booked at the full price. On trains to and from the CIS and Abkhazia, a discount off the fare is available.

When calculating the number of passengers in a group travelling to and from Mongolia, two children under 12 years of age are counted as one adult passenger and on services with the CIS and Abkhazia up to 10 years of age.

When groups of 6 people or more are travelling (or from 10 people on trains to and from the CIS and Abkhazia), a list of the group must be provided to the cashier indicating the numbers of passports/international passports and the group’s leader. The list is certified by the signature of the head of the organisation and official stamp.
