Discount plans cannot be combined (except for seats in the "children’s compartment" and seats for passengers with reduced mobility and/or disabilities). Minimum prices are available on tickets booked 90 days in advance, or where demand is low or moderately low. Reductions under special and general fare plans apply to the cost of the journey (service and commission fees are charged in full at all times).
If during the ticketing process you purchased a ticket at a discount to which you are not entitled, you will be required to pay the difference when boarding the train.

Dynamic pricing
The fares for "Sapsan" high-speed trains are priced based on the market principles (without involving the state as a regulator). The final fare is generated by the Dynamic Fare and Demand Incentive System (DUTISS) depending on the time remaining until departure and the actual and anticipated passenger demand for the selected journey.
Ticket sales start time
Ticket for "Sapsan" trains are made available 90 days before departure. This period is subject to change if adjustments to the timetable are required.
Buying tickets for the meeting room compartment
Tickets for the meeting room compartment (travel class 1Р) and business negotiation compartments (travel class 1П) on "Sapsan" high-speed trains must be purchased together (four tickets). Tickets may be purchased by a single passenger, or by any number of passengers not exceeding four. The fare for this class is always per four seats and includes a service charge depending on the number of passengers in the booking: the minimum fare is for one passenger with four seats and the maximum fare for four passengers with four seats. The return of travel documents is only possible if all four seats are returned at once and a refund fee will be charged for all four seats in a given compartment.
Tickets for the compartment suite (travel class 1Ж) on "Sapsan" high-speed trains are issued in the form of an e-ticket upon payment for the entire compartment. The compartments are for one or two passengers, both of whom must provide their personal details when purchasing tickets. E-tickets for passengers travelling alone specify that two seats have been purchased. If two passengers are travelling, one seat for each passenger will be specified on the e-ticket. The fare will be charged according to the number of seats indicated on the e-ticket and the service charge will be calculated according to the number of passengers ticketed. No changes may be made to e-tickets that have been issued.
E-tickets for "premium compartments" (service class 1E) in Sapsan high-speed trains are issued upon payment for the entire compartment, which accommodates one or two passengers. The personal details of all passengers travelling in a single compartment (up to two passengers) must be provided. Passengers travelling alone are assigned two (both) seats in the compartment on the e-ticket, while passengers travelling together are assigned one seat each. The fare depends on the number of seats indicated in the e-ticket, and the service charge is calculated according to the number of passengers travelling. Changes cannot be made to e-tickets that have already been issued.
Where to get information and certificates
Information on the cost of travel on a "Sapsan" high-speed train for the date and time of the previously issued ticket, as well as confirmation of previously issued travel documents, can be obtained from the ticket offices of the High-Speed Transportation Directorate in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Passengers must be present in person and be able to present an original identity document in order to receive such information. The cost of this service is RUB 350.
Provision of food packets
When registering for the compartmental meeting room (1Р), compartment suite (1Ж) and premium compartment (1E) service classes, passengers are provided with the number of meals that is in accordance with the number of service fees they have paid when booking. When booking tickets under the "More Space" tariff plan, only one service fee is charged per passenger, so only one set of meals is provided.
Cards
A road map is an opportunity to save money when buying a ticket. Use a road map when buying your ticket, and the ticket price will be reduced (service and commission fees are always charged at full price).
