Yuri Bakerkin Deputy Managing Director

Born in 1984 in Moscow.
In 2006, graduated from the Moscow State Transport University. Candidate of Economic Sciences.
Trained at the Corporate University of Russian Railways under the “Corporate Leader” Programme and studied at the Higher School of Economics with a specialisation in “MBA Investment Management”.
Graduated from the training programme for the highest level of the management personnel pool at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
He began his career in the rail industry in 2007 as a specialist in the development department of the Investment Activities Department at OJSC Russian Railways.
Worked in all the Company's investment departments.
In 2014, he became deputy head of the Investment Activities Department at OJSC Russian Railways.
In April 2017, was appointed to the position of Head of the Investment Department at OJSC Russian Railways.
In July 2024, he was appointed Deputy Managing Director of OJSC Russian Railways.
