Shevket Shajdullin Deputy Managing Director – Head of the Traffic Safety & Security

Mr. Shajdullin was born in 1961.
In 1990, he graduated from the Kuibyshev Institute of Railway Transport Engineers with a degree in Locomotives.
In 1998, he received professional retraining in the State Management of Railway Transport programme at the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation. He is a Candidate of Technical Sciences.
Mr. Shajdullin began his railway career in 1978 as a metal worker at the Ulyanovsk Locomotive Depot. He later went on to work as an assistant driver, diesel locomotive operator, Head of the Technical Department, and Chief Engineer at the Ulyanovsk Locomotive Depot. He then worked as Head of the Kinel Locomotive Depot, Head of the Locomotive Service, Deputy Head of the Kuibyshev Railway, Head of the Gorky and Sverdlovsk Railways, Advisor to the President of JSC Russian Railways and CEO of the South Caucasus Railway.
February 2012 – Appointed Head of the Kuibyshev Railway.
December 2012 – Appointed Vice President – Head of the Traffic Safety Department of JSC Russian Railways.
November 2017 – Appointed Deputy Managing Director – Head of the Traffic Safety Department, JSC Russian Railways. |
