Andrey Makarov Deputy Managing Director
(Construction complex)
Mr. Makarov was born in 1979.
He has two university degrees, including one in economics. He received management training in the MBA programme at the Stockholm School of Economics in St. Petersburg and the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University. Mr. Makarov also received special training at the Russian Railways Corporate University in the Strategic Management programme.
He began his railway career in 2001 in the Orenburg Locomotive Depot of the South Urals Railway.
Mr. Makarov moved up the ranks to become Head of the Investment Service of the Oktyabrskaya Railway.
2013-2016 – Deputy Head of Construction, Oktyabrskaya Railway.
June 2016 – Appointed Deputy Head of the Capital Construction Department.
March 2017 – Appointed Head of the Capital Construction Department.
March 2019 – Appointed Deputy Managing Director of JSC Russian Railways. |
