The following rules apply to suburban passengers.
TICKET RETURNS FOR COMMUTER TRAINS WITH SEAT ASSIGNMENT
- When returning an unused ticket no later than 2 hours before train departure, the full cost of the fare is refunded minus the fee for processing the refund of money for the unused ticket as established by the carrier's rules;
- When returning an unused ticket less than 2 hours before train departure, 50% of the cost of the fare is refunded minus the fee for processing the refund of money for the unused tickets as established by the carrier's rules.
TICKET RETURNS FOR COMMUTER TRAINS WITHOUT SEAT ASSIGNMENT
A ticket for a single journey on a commuter train without seat assignment is non-refundable.
An unused ticket for a single journey on a commuter train without seat assignment is refunded only during unscheduled interruptions in the movement of such trains for more than 1 hour at the departure station of passengers.
RETURN OF SEASON TICKETS
The cost of an unused season ticket is refunded by the carrier in accordance with the following procedure.
To return a season ticket, passengers should contact the carrier's ticket office, fill out a claim and hand it to the ticket cashier.
The amount to be refunded upon return of the season ticket is calculated by the carrier in accordance with Paragraphs 162 and 163 of the Rules for the Carriage of Passengers, Baggage and Cargo Baggage by Rail as approved by Order No. 352 issued by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation on 5 September 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the Rules). In accordance with Paragraph 165 of the Rules, when the passenger submits a claim, the carrier has the right to withhold a fee for processing the refund of money for an unused or partially used electronic season ticket. The amount of the fee is established by the carrier’s local regulations.
Refunds are made within 10 working days from the date the passenger submits their written claim.
