Sustainable Development

The key communication tool between the company and its stakeholders in the area of sustainable development is the sustainability report (before 2014, the corporate social responsibility report). It contains information on the activities of JSCo "RZD" in all aspects of sustainable development:

• environmental aspect: environmental management, climate change mitigation, air protection, waste management, water resources, noise and vibration, and biodiversity conservation;
• social aspect: personnel development, labor protection and industrial safety, customer relations, local communities and charity;
• management aspect: governance structure, risk management system, anti-corruption, tax obligations, procurement and innovative development.
