North Caucasus Railway serves a wide area: Rostov Oblast, Krasnodar and Stavropol Krais, the Republic of Adygea, Karachay-Cherkessia, the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Ingushetia, the Chechen Republic, the Republic of Kalmykia and the Republic of Dagestan.
North Caucasus Railway is managed from its headquarters in Rostov-on-Don. The line also serves all of Russia’s Azov-Black Sea ports and the commercial port of Makhachkala on the Caspian Sea.
