Born 15 July 1977.
In 1999, Sergey Saratov graduated from the Siberian State Transport University with a degree in "Economics and Management in Construction". In 2012, he completed the Executive MBA programme at the Stockholm School of Economics.
He studied at the Moscow School of Management "SKOLKOVO", the Russian Railways Corporate University, and the European Centre for International Transport Projects ISI GMBH.
From 1999 to 2008, he held senior positions in various divisions at Russian Railways.
From 2008 to 2017, Saratov headed the Department for Organisation, Remuneration and Employee Incentives at Russian Railways.
From 2017 to 2025 – Head of the HR Management Department at Russian Railways.
In February 2025, Sergey Saratov was appointed Deputy Managing Director of OJSC Russian Railways.
He has received various departmental and corporate awards, including the Company’s highest award, the Honorary Railwayman of OJSC Russian Railways badge.
