Each compartment has an individual bathroom with a washbasin, a vacuum toilet that also functions during stops, and a shower (in a carriage with four compartments there is a shower cabinet). MOTOR CAR ROLLING STOCK
Carriages with seats |
"Lastochka" motor car trains and other electric and diesel trains with seats run on interregional services. The number of seats depends on the carriage design. The fundamental difference between motor car rolling stock and a locomotive-hauled train is that some or all of the carriages fitted with motor car rolling stock are equipped with both engines for traction and passenger compartments. In a locomotive-hauled train, the cars are not self-propelled. |
