General Procedure for Entering the Station, Security Searches of Passengers, Hand Luggage, and Suitcases
Passengers and visitors are screened using stationary (frame) and hand-held metal detectors, as well as gas analysis and chemical equipment.
Baggage is screened using X-ray television and radioscopic equipment.
Passengers and visitors must independently place their baggage and hand luggage on the X-ray television conveyer belt. They also have to lay out or place in the inspection trays and baskets items containing any metal that they have with them: mobile phones, portable and tablet computers and photo, video, film and radio equipment.
Passengers and visitors are also required to answer clarifying questions from the staff at the transport security department who are carrying out inspection activities.
If the staff have any suspicions about the presence of items and substances banned from carriage, the passenger or visitor is invited for a second, additional inspection.
To expedite matters and offer passengers a convenient experience during the inspection process, we recommend that they arrive at their stations no later than 30 minutes before the train’s departure.
People who refuse to undergo inspections are not allowed into the transport security zone. A passenger’s refusal to undergo an inspection, additional inspection, or repeated inspections for the purpose of ensuring transport security, can result in the unilateral termination of the carriage agreement.
