The multi-format excursion project Railways of Russia introduces passengers and visitors to the cultural heritage and history of the country’s railway station complexes through audio guides, thematic expositions, game excursions for children, group excursions and many other products.
Today, the excursion project includes more than 70 railway stations from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok!
Visitors have a unique opportunity to visit places usually hidden from passengers. For example, at Kiev Station, visitors can climb up the clock tower and see the clock’s mechanism, which is still wound manually!
At Kazansky Station in Moscow and Samara, people can ascend to the observation deck and see the very centre of the city.
For young passengers and visitors, excursions are organised to enable them to explore the station interactively, take a look into the announcer’s room and even feel like a train driver on a special simulator.
The project’s highlights are its audio excursions, which await passengers and visitors at more than 60 stations across the country. You can hear the history of the development of railways, be transported to the day of the first train’s arrival, learn what fateful events the stations have witnessed, and take part in the significant happenings in Russia’s history.
